Community Meditation: Life of the Buddha (Part 1/4)

Join Maya for a Community Meditation session. Maya will lead participants in a shamatha (peaceful abiding) meditation practice together, followed by a short teaching and group discussion on a different theme related to mindfulness. Suitable for beginners or experienced meditators. All are welcome.

For this session’s discussion we’ll explore Part 1 of 4 of the Life of the Buddha, examining what his childhood was like growing up in the “pleasure palace” of a kingdom as Prince Siddhartha Gautama.

Community Meditation occurs every first and third Tuesday from 6-7 pm at Firefly Studio.

98 Front St., Suite 24
Bath, ME

Sliding Scale $10-20 via cash, Venmo @maya-rook, or card.

Drop in or sign up in advance here.
