Meet Your Teacher:
Emily MacNichol, aka The West End Witch, is an Esoteric Feminist teacher, spiritual coach and energy healer based in Portland, Maine. She is a certified Usui Reiki Master, Community Herbalist, and Somatic Embodiment practitioner.
Emily's interest in the occult began during childhood, trying to commune with faeries and Goddesses. She was drawn to the darker sides of folklore, specifically dark feminine icons like Baba Yaga and female monsters. Her work is guided by concepts around the “hidden” feminine in our culture, neurodivergence, and embracing one's inner monster. She works within a community context to help connect the liminal to the physical through private client sessions and group work. She uses her lived experience as a former youth teacher and social worker to inform an accessible but depth-based approach to healing from an anti-racist, Feminist lens and encourages those who work with her to harness their own unique blend of magic.
