Halcyone Wise has been navigating her relationship with Tarot for well over half her life, as her first and most consistent magical companion. We often come to tarot when confronted with big life questions, difficult transitions, new ventures, uncertainties, or hopes, and Halcyone’s approach to reading cards is one of empathy, gratitude, and even joy for all the myriad of experiences that life has to offer. Halcyone usually reads for clients with the Modern Hue Tarot, but she has an alarming amount of decks and they occasionally make a special appearance at events.

Maya Rook’s connection with tarot began in middle school when she started reading cards for classmates backstage during musicals. Her enthusiasm and commitment has deepened in recent years, and she loves holding space for people during readings to really explore the meaning of the cards as they relate to that particular person at this moment in time. She views all the cards as invitations to work with different energies and takes a playful, intuitive, and empathetic approach to readings.
