Let’s gather together for the May Full Moon in Scorpio!

Join us in community to watch the moon rise over the beautiful Kennebec River in Long Reach Hall at the Maine Maritime Museum. Through meditation, ritual, and gentle movement, we'll connect with the transformative energy of this watery full moon. We’ll also engage with tarot, astrology, and conversation to dive deep into the intuitive and mysterious qualities of this powerful moment in the lunar cycle.

Bring a yoga mat/cushion to sit on the floor or opt to sit in a provided chair.

Meet Your Host:

Maya Rook, creator of Firefly Studio, has been offering monthly Full Moon Gatherings since the spring of 2022. She loves creating space for community to come together on these potent moments in the lunar cycle each month to explore whatever energy is currently arising. These sessions are informed by her experiences as a yoga and meditation, practitioner of natural magic and Buddhism, and work as a cultural historian. Participants have described Maya’s approach to Full Moon Gatherings as welcoming, magical, creative, and grounding. After attending a gathering, you will walk away with a deeper connection to yourself and others, as well as fresh perspectives in how you view the world around you.
